AC Shadows Introduces Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving

In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations reverberate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The questline concentrates on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Additional Material

Players who finish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
