Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
